Jack's Diary---2/2. by Fanny

Red, red, red! It's all red everywhere, this is our Chinese New Year! Around the traditional market, you can see all kinds of stands. I bring the bear walking down the street, and discover some interesting things.

Walking down the stairstep, I see a fireworks stand. Children can't play this kind of dangerous thing in Taipei -- a city full of tall buildings. It's easy to make things burn!

Now Jack is sitting on the red envelops in which parents put money and give them to their children as a gift on New Year's Eve. Chinese people believe that it can bring good luck! So little teddy, will you bring me some more red-envelops?

Then it's time for cram school. The tall building with a blue and white signboard.

The man, who is standing beside me, was my preceptor when I was in 8th grade.
The girl who is by my side is Ann. We go to the same cram school!

She is my favorite English teacher, Miss. Kerry. I have been studying in her class for over 5 years, and she brought me to England during the summer of 2004 and 2005. We stayed in The Salisbury School of English.

He is now my cram school preceptor, he is kind and interesting, and really insists on our studies. Do you see the number "116" on the right side above? That's for counting down how many days are left for "The Basic Competence Test for Junior High School", an important test for senior high school qualification. But do you know the true number today is(the day I write this diary)? It's "109". Time really flies!

Jack's Diary--- What does Apollo do for the V.C.

Researching the logo of the sticker,"iTAIKE", Jack is waiting for me with great patience. (Thank you, Jack~)

I feel so excited about the coming video conference,
because finally we can see other iEARN friends.
To make sure nothing goes wrong on V.C, I practice using the device with Doris and Cindea.

After hard working and "fighting" against the cold machines, Big wolf and I have a lunch break with
some lovely 9h graders who really devote themselves to the iEARN project--"Show Taiwan"
Later on, I will post the link about their "masterpiece".
I guarantee that whoever sees it will feel so proud of these young ladies' creation!

Jack’s Diary – 2008.01.30 by Joanne Li

Hey, I’m Joanne. Today I have Jack with me. Though I spent all day staying in school and cram school, I am still happy because Jack is by my side.

Now he is sitting on my desk watching me doing my endless homework, but I don't feel lonely. Tell you a little secret, it seems he had some magic power on me, I am not tired at all.

When I finished my homework, I talked to him and took some pictures of him; I also told him a lot of my secrets.

Now it’s time to sleep, and Jack is standing beside the alarm clock.

Good night, Jack, Sweet dreams~

Jack's Diary--2008. 1.29. by Helen

(This is Helen Yu, Jack from U.K. and Franklin Chang in the Hong Dao campus. )

Hello,I am Helen.

Today is a special day. Why? Because it is my “BIRTHDAY”!

In the morning, my mom and sister bought me a birthday cake. And my best friend came to celebrate my birthday.

In the afternoon, I took the cake to school to surprise the teacher. But I thought the teacher surprised me. He brought me a little cake, and then everyone sang “Happy Birthday” song to me. He gave me a cute card. I like this card very much.

Now, it’s my turn to have this little bear, Jack, as my journal pal. I really love it! Because now Jack is my good friend, too. I will have a great time with him!

This is the story about Jack and me. He wishes that I will get many presents and have a happy time today.

Jack's diary--2008.1.29. by Apollo

I am Jack. This is my first time to be the main character on this page because of the "Jack's Diary".

Much to my surprise, it's Helen's birthday today while I am working on the "Show Taiwan" project with some Hong Dao iEARN team members in the computer center.

Certainly it's time for great celebration!

Guess what did we have?

We got cakes and .....more cakes... Hahahahaha~

Because we strongly believe "You work hard, You eat hard!"

Now lets' eat the cakes and take a picture of all of us!
